Christian Ex-Gay Organization
to Hold Annual Conference
Exodus International, the largest national Christian ex-gay group, will be
holding its annual North American Conference on July 24-29 at Point Loma,
California. This year marks the group's 25th annual event; to date, more than
8,000 people have attended the conferences.
The week's workshops include, "Married Men: Growing Beyond Ourselves," "Stolen
Childhood: Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse," "Help, My Loved One is Gay,"
"Father-Daughter Dynamics and Lesbian Development," "Finding Joy in the Process,"
"Reconciling with Parents," and "Roots of Lesbianism." Others are "Why Me?
Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering," "How to Survive Being Married to an
Ex-Gay Man," and "Ministry to Youth Unsure of their Sexual Orientation."
